Dogs Day Out!!

If you ever read my blog, you know I love my dogs.  Since February is usually a slower wedding time, I decided to do a shoot that would combine my love of my puppers with helping the Atlanta Humane Society.

On Saturday February 27 from 10:00am -5:00pm people must make an appointment for the $25 photo shoot and they receive a 15 minute photo shoot for their dog with 2 different backdrops, online proofing of 10-15 images and a 5x7 digital file.  Also you have to bring a bag of dog food that I will bring to the Atlanta Humane Society the first week of March.

Random Me-ism's

When I was in Tampa for Katie and Joel's Wedding I met Katie for the first time right before the wedding.  We had talked via email and even on the phone but met each other in person.  After saying hello and ordering drinks the first thing she said was After reading your bio on your website we had to work with you, I read the last pages of books too!  When I posted my random thoughts on my bio page, I never thought that people would really read them or use them as a reason to work with me!  Katie's comment got me thinking about the things that make me tick, make me different and -to be quite honest- a bit of an odd bird.  So I thought that I would list a few here.

• I tend to exagerate when I am telling a story, alot.
• I let both my dogs sleep in the bed and when Nick is not here I let them sleep on my Nick's pillow.
• I hate to clean my shower and let the hairball at the bottom of the drain get the size of a small dog before Nick cleans it.
• I read tons of books, chic lit and vampires mainly, even tween vampire novels that are not well written but I can't stop, it might be a sickness.
• I feel that black yoga pants are an acceptable form of clothing for all activities, shopping, going out to lunch, running errands, going to visit friends, airline travel.

Another random thing- last night I had dinner with AP and a person I did not know, told me they read my blog and like my work!  I almost cried!  I see the people come to my site, they read the blog but to have someone chat with me was so awesome!

And because I had lunch with Jessica today to give her Isla Belle's accordion book and blog posts are better with pictures, I am going to post her design.  The accordion books are a great way to keep images in her purse to show everyone the cuteness that is Isla Belle!

Atlanta Wedding Photographer - Kim +Scott's Wedding Part 2

I am going to say AGAIN, that I LOVE my clients!  Kim and Scott where such troopers on their wedding day in the -9 degree weather!  They did not let a little arctic blast put a damper on their day!  I have to give a huge THANK YOU shout out to Jason for helping me with this awesome wedding!  If you want to see more from Kim and Scott's wedding CLICK HERE for their slideshow!

Kim and Scott had a tree that cones hanging on it that people filled with Ecofetti to toss on them as they left!

Atlanta Wedding Photographer - Kim + Scott's Wedding Part 1

I photographed Kim and Scott's wedding on January 9th at St. Ann's Catholic Church and The Roswell Mill Club.  All though it was soooooo cold, like arctic blast 2010 with snow and ice, they were total troopers and even ventured outside for a few pictures.  Working with Kim and Scott was absolutely amazing!  Right after we met for the first time I felt like I had known Kim and her mom forever!  It took Scott a bit longer to warm up to me because I am a Gator and they are big FSU fans, they even met at an FSU event! 

I am going to do 2 blog posts of their wedding because there were tons of images that I loved!!!

I started the day with Kim at Soda Salon in Roswell.

Kim was so happy and her sister-in-law was there getting her hair did too!

Kim had this awesome hairpiece made! 

I loved the back of Kim's hair! You all know that I love to play with reflections and mirrors- how do you like the image on the right?

Then we moved onto Kim's parents house to get dressed!
